Social Marketing Lead
You are a culturally tuned-in social leader who believes great brands need a point of view, not just a content calendar.
Freelance, NYC (Hybrid)
YOU: A senior social leader who believes great brands need a point of view, not just a content calendar. You can sit with a leadership team, absorb where the business is headed, and walk out owning the plan for how the brand shows up. You bring strong strategic thinking and creative judgment, you know a trend that is already over when you see one, and you are comfortable directing creative and agency partners rather than making the work yourself.
THEM: An iconic food brand under new leadership, rebuilding how it shows up in culture. The creative team is already in place. Social is a growth channel here, not a nice-to-have, and this role is measured on what it moves.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Translate leadership vision and marketing priorities into social programs, working closely with Brand, Creative, PR, and Media.
Define where the brand belongs across platforms and cultural moments, and where it does not.
Direct the in-house creative team and agency partners from idea through execution.
Own the channel roadmap and keep the work consistent across every platform.
Use audience and performance insight to evolve the strategy in real time.
REQUIREMENTS:
Able to pitch an idea and sell it, to leadership and to the people who have to build it.
Senior, director, or consultant level experience leading consumer-facing social programs.
In-house or agency-side both will be considered.
Case studies from a notable brand, or from a smaller brand whose social work earned real recognition or cultural traction.
Deep understanding of storytelling, audience behavior, and engagement across platforms.
You lead the work more than you make it, though on a team this size you will still get your hands in it.
Culturally curious, decisive, collaborative, and genuinely attuned to what makes brands matter in social.
Senior Strategist
You are a curious, sharp thinker who thrives in the space between brand ambition, human insight, and product innovation.
Full-Time, NYC (Hybrid)
YOU: A curious, sharp thinker who thrives in the space between brand ambition, human insight, and product innovation. You know that great strategy starts with finding the right problem, not just solving the one already on the table. You're a strong storyteller and collaborative partner who enjoys working alongside designers, engineers, clients, and fellow strategists to turn insight into ideas that actually make it into the world.
THEM: A forward-thinking incubation studio that is known for their high-quality work, an innovative approach and collaborates with clients to reimagine how they go to market.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and lead exploratory research across company realities, category dynamics, cultural trends, and consumer behavior to uncover new opportunities.
Translate signals and insights into clear strategic narratives, tensions, and Design Challenge Briefs that define the opportunity, audience, and principles for exploration.
Partner closely with product designers and cross-disciplinary teams to generate, evolve, test, and refine new product ideas.
Lead co-creation sessions and user testing to challenge assumptions, observe behavior, and pressure-test ideas through real-world feedback.
Ensure strategic intent remains embedded throughout the process, connecting ideas back to both business ambition and the people they are designed to serve.
Contribute to business cases and strategic rationale that help clients invest in and build what comes next.
REQUIREMENTS:
5-10 years of experience in strategy across brand, design, product innovation, or related environments—agency or client-side.
A natural curiosity and ability to ask sharp questions, challenge assumptions, and find clarity in complex or ambiguous situations.
Strong understanding of both identifying the right problem and helping teams develop meaningful solutions.
Exceptional written and verbal storytelling skills, with the ability to turn insight into clear and compelling strategic narratives.
Experience collaborating across disciplines, including designers, engineers, strategists, and client teams.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and adapt as projects evolve.
A high bar for both strategic thinking and craft.
