Senior Creative Director – Brand & Packaging

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and elevate the brand’s visual identity across packaging, retail, campaigns, digital, and storytelling
Set creative strategy and design direction, ensuring a cohesive, emotionally resonant brand presence
Concept and execute hands-on design across packaging, print, retail, OOH, social, and presentations
Mentor and guide a growing design team, fostering a collaborative, curious, and high-craft culture
Partner cross-functionally to evolve, protect, and scale the brand’s visual language
Oversee packaging from concept and structure through artwork, refinement, and production
Collaborate with industrial design partners to deliver systems that are both beautiful and functional
Shape strategic, culturally relevant creative for campaigns, launches, and major brand moments
Ensure clarity, consistency, and craft across all creative outputs and partner work
REQUIREMENTS:
15+ years across branding, design, and/or packaging, with 4–5+ years leading creative teams
Experience in both studio and in-house environments, guiding teams through high-quality, sustained work
Mastery of brand systems, visual storytelling, typography, color, layout, and packaging fundamentals
Proven ability to create expressive, emotionally resonant consumer brands—especially in food or lifestyle
Strong conceptual and executional skills with a refined, colorful, expressive aesthetic
Hands-on packaging expertise and an understanding of how structure and graphics work together
Ability to collaborate fluidly with cross-functional teams and external agencies
Exceptional presentation, communication, and storytelling skills
Low ego, high empathy, and a thoughtful, collaborative leadership style
A portfolio showcasing vibrant, expressive, magical consumer branding and packaging work
Based on the information that has been provided to You & Them by our Client, the base salary for this position is in the $250k - $300k range plus bonus and equity depending on experience.
Senior Manager, Mechanical Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead mechanical engineering for advanced food and beverage equipment, including automated dispensing and IoT-enabled systems
Design and validate fluid handling and automation systems that meet NSF/ANSI, UL/ETL, and FDA standards
Translate creative concepts into manufacturable, scalable solutions alongside industrial design and product teams
Build and manage in-house prototyping and benchmarking capabilities for rapid testing and iteration
Specify materials and processes for food-safe, reliable, and visually refined products
Collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and cross-functional internal teams to align on technical specifications
Mentor 2–3 mechanical engineers, defining standards, review processes, and quality checkpoints
Present engineering solutions and recommendations to leadership, driving innovation and excellence
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automation, or related Engineering field
7–10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on automated or consumer-facing equipment
Proven success designing and scaling systems for food and beverage or premium hardware applications
Hands-on experience with CAD (Onshape, SolidWorks, or Rhino) and embedded or PLC control systems
Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermal systems, and manufacturing processes
Familiarity with NSF, UL, and FDA compliance for foodservice design
2–4 years of team leadership or mentorship experience
Collaborative communicator with a passion for craftsmanship, precision, and purpose-driven innovation
Based on the information that has been provided to You & Them by our Client, the base salary for this position is in the $125K - $185K range depending on experience.
