RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead strategic engagements, guiding clients through ambiguity with confidence, clarity, and empathy
Drive discovery through research, interviews, workshops, and synthesis to uncover insights about users, markets, and business opportunities
Develop brand, business, and messaging strategies that inform real product, platform, and experience decisions
Translate strategy into clear positioning, narratives, frameworks, and practical guidance teams can use
Partner closely with design, product, and engineering teams to ensure strategy shapes outcomes — not just recommendations
Balance leadership and hands-on contribution, actively writing, researching, and shaping strategy
Facilitate client sessions and internal conversations that move thinking forward and build alignment
Support proposals and pitches by articulating the value of strategy in driving brand and product success
REQUIREMENTS:
10+ years of experience in strategy, brand, product, or related roles within agencies, studios, or consultancies
Proven ability to lead strategic discovery and translate complex ideas into clear, compelling direction
Strong understanding of how brand, product, and experience strategy intersect
Excellent communication skills: Comfortable leading workshops, client conversations, and presentations
A structured, rigorous thinker who balances logic with creativity and emotional resonance
Craft-oriented mindset with high standards for what strategy looks like in the real world
Commercially savvy, with the ability to connect strategic thinking to business outcomes
Collaborative by nature, with experience working closely alongside creatives and technologists
Adaptable and comfortable shifting between big-picture thinking and detailed execution
