YOU: A craft-forward product designer who shapes intuitive, visually compelling digital experiences. You lead design end to end, from research and concepting to high-fidelity and handoff, and you push craft into 3D, motion, and animation. You balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility, and you set the bar for the designers around you. You're fluent with AI-assisted tools and use them as part of how you work, not as an afterthought.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead end-to-end design for new features, from research and concepting to high-fidelity and handoff

  • Translate user insight and product strategy into elegant, practical design

  • Build and maintain design systems for consistency and scale • Collaborate with product, engineering, and creative to define and prioritize

  • Facilitate workshops, critiques, and user testing to validate decisions

  • Advocate for accessibility, usability, and inclusive design

  • Mentor and support other designers

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience leading product design for web and/or mobile

  • Expertise in interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and user research

  • Ability to build with AI-assisted tools

  • Strong proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and collaborative workflows

  • Experience building and scaling design systems

  • Excellent communicator, able to articulate design rationale and influence stakeholders

  • Based in NYC or able to work Tues-Thurs on site
