Director of Partnerships

Full-time, NYC (Hybrid)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and nurture relationships with senior executives across product, brand, and marketing organizations

  • Lead early-stage conversations with prospective clients, uncovering real challenges and shaping opportunities

  • Develop a point of view on market trends and proactively identify organizations that would benefit from the studio’s approach

  • Qualify opportunities thoughtfully, focusing on long-term fit and meaningful work

  • Partner with internal strategy and creative leadership to develop thoughtful, tailored proposals

  • Build a repeatable, intentional approach to business development that aligns with the studio’s values

  • Represent the studio externally at events, conferences, and client meetings

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, design, innovation, or related fields

  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders

  • Strong understanding of business strategy, brand, product, and go-to-market dynamics

  • Experience shaping proposals and scoping engagements collaboratively

  • Confident external presence with the ability to represent the team credibly

  • Strong judgment in qualifying opportunities and prioritizing the right work

  • Based in NYC, with availability for in-person collaboration and travel as needed

  • Based on the information that has been provided to You & Them by our Client, compensation for this position is in the $150K-$250K range depending on experience.
