You're equal parts strategist, creative director, producer, and marketer and are comfortable developing long-term content strategies while jumping into the details to refine a caption, review an edit, or capitalize on a real-time opportunity. You understand that great social isn't about posting more; it's about creating work that earns attention, sparks conversation, and strengthens a brand over time. You're a natural storyteller with exceptional creative instincts, confident leading teams, collaborating across disciplines, and pushing ideas beyond what's expected.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and lead the brand's organic social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms, creating content that is both culturally relevant and deeply aligned with the brand.

  • Own the social content ecosystem from strategy and creative briefing through production, publishing, and ongoing optimization.

  • Lead and mentor a small in-house creative team while collaborating with agencies, creators, production partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Build integrated content strategies that support product launches, seasonal campaigns, partnerships, brand storytelling, and real-time moments.

  • Partner closely with marketing, PR, communications, and executive leadership to ensure social plays a meaningful role across the broader brand ecosystem.

  • Establish efficient workflows, manage content calendars, navigate legal and compliance approvals, and confidently present recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Continuously push the creative standard—bringing fresh ideas, cultural relevance, and compelling storytelling that elevates how the brand shows up every day.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7+ years of experience leading social media, content, or digital marketing for consumer-facing brands.

  • Proven success developing organic social strategies that drive brand relevance, engagement, and cultural impact.

  • Experience leading creative teams while remaining deeply involved in the work and day-to-day execution.

  • Strong understanding of modern social platforms, creator ecosystems, content production, and emerging digital trends.

  • Ability to think strategically while moving quickly in fast-paced, evolving environments.

  • Exceptional storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Comfortable collaborating across marketing, creative, PR, legal, executive leadership, agencies, and production partners.

  • Experience in CPG or lifestyle brands is a plus, along with a willingness to travel for shoots, events, and brand activations.
