Account Manager

Full-time, NYC (Hybrid)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the day-to-day client lead, managing communication, follow-ups, and overall relationship health

  • Set expectations for meetings, workshops, and work sessions while driving toward clear outcomes and next steps

  • Synthesize research, client inputs, and team thinking into strategic points of view that help guide the work

  • Partner closely with creative, product, engineering, and strategy teams to keep projects moving forward

  • Track project scope, timelines, and budgets, proactively identifying risks and helping resolve challenges before they escalate

  • Support new business efforts through proposals, pitches, and relationship-building opportunities

  • Build strong relationships with clients and partners, including occasional travel as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience in account management, client services, or project leadership within a creative agency, innovation studio, consultancy, or similar environment

  • Experience partnering with senior Product, Engineering, and Creative leaders to facilitate reviews, workshops, and key project milestones

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders

  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining organization, attention to detail, and momentum

  • Comfortable using modern collaboration and project management tools including Google Workspace, Slack, Figma, and related platforms

  • Genuine curiosity about brands, culture, technology, and market dynamics

  • Confident, thoughtful, and collaborative with a low-ego approach that elevates both the work and the team

  • Based on the information that has been provided to You & Them by our Client, compensation for this position is in the $100K-$160K range depending on experience.
