Exercise 3: Don't let negative thoughts take root

Negative thoughts and feelings are going to happen and they’re healthy and necessary for a happy life. However, mentally tough people don’t let shame spirals, negative self talk or angry emotions take over and make a home. Extended negative thoughts and unresolved anger will increase your stress levels, which increases cortisol, thus making it impossible to see possibility and opportunity.
